Cate Le Bon announces new album ‘Michelangelo Dying’ and unveils lead single ‘Heaven Is No Feeling’
The singer has shared details of her seventh studio album, which will arrive on 26th September.

Cate Le Bon has announced plans to release her seventh studio album, ‘Michelangelo Dying’, on 26th September. The singer has also unveiled her lead single from the forthcoming record, entitled ‘Heaven Is No Feeling’, alongside a new music video.
The new record apparently sees Le Bon tackle heartache, despite her attempt to avoid writing about love. The album also promises “to photograph a wound before it closes up - but which in doing so, picks at it too”.

On new single, ‘Heaven Is No Feeling’ Le Bon addresses the grief of a fantasy. She sings: “I see you watch me work for your slow hand / Draping my body with no rhythm just desire / The day / The night / It all ends / And you smoke our love / Like you’ve never known violence.”
The track comes alongside a new video, directed by H. Hawkline, which shows Le Bon watching herself on a vintage TV. “There are moments in life you can’t make up, that seem unfathomable, then they happen,” says Hawkline, discussing the visual. “If you were to ask me how we made this video, I couldn’t tell you. Cate watching her, watching her watching Cate.”
He continues: “I will always feel honoured to work with Cate in whatever shape or form, it’s easy to forget how remarkable someone is when you’ve known them forever,” he adds.
