Champagne Champagne (Blood Brothers’ Mark Gajadhar, rapper Pearl Dragon and Thomas Gray) are working on a movie project entitled ‘$5 Cover’ for MTV.com, and they’re inviting fans to help them.
“We are filming in Seattle so it’s pretty key that you live in the area,” say the band on MySpace. “The movie is based on 12 Seattle bands and how they interact with each other. It’s scripted but also loosely based on true events that happened with in our music scene here in Seattle. Yeah, it sounds kind of weird but the person directing the film is legit and seems to have a really good grasp on what she can do with this idea (even though none of us can act. Ha ha!).”
