Charli xcx and A. G. Cook preview The Moment with video for soundtrack cut ‘Residue’

Charli xcx has continued to amp up anticipation for her upcoming film The Moment by sharing ‘Residue’, the first track to be lifted from its accompanying album ‘The Moment (The Score)’.

Created and produced by A. G. Cook, this new LP - which lands in full on Friday (30th January) - will soundtrack the mockumentary-style A24 film, which Charli created in collaboration with Aidan Zamiri to commemorate (and skewer) the cultural furore around her seminal 2024 album ‘BRAT’. 

What’s more, ‘Residue’ has also arrived accompanied by an instantly-iconic video (also directed by Aidan Zamiri) that sees Charli lose herself in a dancefloor of lookalikes - before one particularly familiar face emerges from the crowd…
