Suck it
Charli XCX announces second album, ‘Sucker’, shares new song, ‘Break The Rules’
The record will be released this October.

Is there anyone out there right now better at writing a chorus than Charli XCX? Doubtful.
After the chart smash that was single ‘Boom Clap’, the singer-songwriter has announced that her second album - the follow-up to 2013 debut ‘True Romance’ - is called ‘Sucker’, and will be released this October.
Along with the record, she’s also shared a brand new song - the bold, infectious and brilliantly layered ‘Break The Rules’. Expect to be singing it for weeks.
‘Sucker’ is released in the States via Neon Gold/Atlantic on 21st October (and likely, a day earlier here in the UK).
“I remember when I first began writing it I wanted to write an album that I would’ve been obsessed with when I was 14”, she said. “I would love to see a punk revolution, and loads of 14-year-old girls with shaved heads. I would love for girls to be able to celebrate this record.”
