Charli XCX’s ‘Boom Clap’ is probably the highlight of the soundtrack to upcoming film ‘The Fault In Our Stars’, being that it’s pretty great.

After gaining its debut back in April, and, between Charli’s various stop-offs to accompany Iggy Azalea for A-list ‘Fancy’ performances, it now has a video.

Shot in Amsterdam (as that’s where the film is partially based) and featuring Charli twirling, staring and walking around the Dutch capital’s streets interspersed with the movie’s footage, it comes with the announcement that ‘Boom Clap’ will be a single proper on 20th July.

Speaking of the track, Charli says, “’Boom Clap’ is a magical song to me. It celebrates epic love. I want people to dance and cry to it, and scream it at the top of their lungs”.

Charli XCX will perform at this year’s Beacons festival near Skipton in August.
