Charli XCX unleashes bonkers video for ‘Doing It’ (ft. Rita Ora)
Line-dancing routines and flares as far as the eye can see - this is everything a pop video should be.
If there’s anybody capable of running a Western heist, it’s Charli XCX. Going all Thelma and Louise in ‘Doing It’s new video, she’s hired Rita Ora as her hench-woman. There are chaps, cowboys hats, policeman strippers with nipple tassels, bucking broncos, and patterned flares as far as the eye can see. There’s even a line-dancing routine and a swimming pool full of croc shoes. In other words, it’s everything silly and ludicrous that you’d hope for from a proper pop video.
The next single from Charli XCX’s [extremely] long-awaited album, ‘Doing It’ has been recently revamped - thus the further delay in ‘Sucker’s UK release. Rita Ora steps in as a ft. and partner of crime, and brings a more clean-cut pop clout to the table.
