Charli XCX unveils new track, ‘London Queen’
Standout cut from ‘Sucker’ appears on the DIY cover star’s new album.

Charli XCX is streaming ‘London Queen’, a ridiculously addictive new cut about US stardom, appearing on her forthcoming second album ‘Sucker’.
The track gets by on a mantra of “I never thought I’d be living in the USA, doing things the American way”. A special mention should go to the cheeky “sank” sample around 2 minutes in.
It backs up ‘Break the Rules’ in previewing ‘Sucker’, which has been given a new release date of 16th December for North America and 26th January for UK & Europe.
Charli XCX is DIY’s October 2014 cover star. Read the new issue in full here.
