Chastity Belt’s new album is coming out next year!
A 2017 release date is set, the band say in a new interview.
Chastity Belt have revealed their new album is set to come out next year, which is pretty lovely news.
Talking with SPIN, the band say they recorded 14 songs up in Portland, and are looking to whittle it down to 10 or 12.
Vocalist Julia Shapiro says: “There are a few songs I’ve written where I’ve been like, ‘Oh, this is gonna be a hit,’ and I just felt that with this one,” she says. “I played it for my friend and she cried. I wrote it in a day — lyrics and everything — and it felt really good.”
