Cheatahs share video for ‘Controller’
Track is taken from the group’s forthcoming release ‘The Sunne’ EP.
Cheatahs shared a new track last month called ‘Controller’ which will be featured on a new EP called ‘The Sunne’. Today sees the release of the track’s philosophical video, conceived and directed by Federico Urdaneta, a friend of the group and a member of the Human film collective.
For the video of ‘Controller’ guitarist James Wignall and Urdaneta created a script that involves two school girls pondering existential questions at a graveyard and a more cheery trip to a video arcade. Wignall told Nowness that the inspiration behind the video was a result of “quoting Nietzsche, Heidegger and Kant at each other while we chain-smoked.”
