Chromeo Stream New ‘White Women’ Album In Full

Dance-funk duo Chromeo are streaming their new ‘White Women’ album in full ahead of its release on 12th May.

Dave 1 and P-Thugg’s fourth LP features guests Ezra Koenig, Solange, Toro Y Moi and LCD Soundsystem’s Pat Mahoney. Look out for song of the summer candidate ‘Old 45s’, while you’re at it.

In a recent DIY interview (read in full in the May 2014 issue), Dave-1 acknowledged funk’s recent revival and its relation to ‘White Women’. ‘We’ve always been making this kind of music and always will even though this new album is a subtle reinvention for us. It’s our main musical aesthetic. When it goes out of vogue - as these things do - we’ll still be making it, you know. We’re conscious that as far as mainstream trends go it could just be a phase.’
