Watch Chvrches cover The 1975’s ‘Somebody Else’
The band also played ‘Get Out’ on a trip to the Live Lounge.
Chvrches are releasing their new album ‘Love Is Dead’ and stopped by Radio 1’s Live Lounge yesterday (15th March) to play its first track ‘Get Out’.
They also performed a “ballad banger” cover of The 1975’s hit ‘Somebody Else’. We’re hoping this cover version is somewhat due to a tweet posted a few years back, which showed that when ‘Somebody Else’ is sped up, it sounds quite a lot like a track from Lauren Mayberry and co.
‘Love Is Dead’ is out 25th May and has been previewed by ‘Get Out’ and most recent single ‘My Enemy’, which features Matt Berninger of The National.
Watch the ‘Somebody Else’ and ‘Get Out’ performances below.
