Chvrches share new track ‘Never Say Die’
It’s a pulsating new one from their upcoming album ‘Love Is Dead’.
Having already shared ‘Get Out’ and ‘My Enemy’ (featuring none other than The National’s Matt Berninger), Chvrches are gearing up to release their much-anticipated new album ‘Love Is Dead’ in May.
Now they’re back with another new cut, the pulsating ‘Never Say Die’, which Lauren Mayberry says is one of the first tracks they recorded with producer Greg Kurstin. As reported by Pitchfork, Lauren said in a statement: “‘Never Say Die’ is one of my favorite songs on the record because it really leans into the juxtaposition of what we do—the mixture between the dark and the light […] It’s melodic and direct but uses some of the gnarliest sounds we’ve ever tried”.
The band recently hit the Live Lounge to play ‘Get Out’ and a cover of The 1975’s ‘Somebody Else’. Chvrches are also on the cover of the April issue of DIY! It’ll also feature Goat Girl, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and loads more. Find out more about it right here.
Listen to ‘Never Say Die’ below.
Chvrches play Citadel (15th July) where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
