Chvrches share brand new track, ‘Warning Call’

A few months on from their ‘Every Open Eye’ album, Chvrches have dropped a brand new, standalone track.

‘Warning Call’ soundtracks a new video game, ‘Mirror’s Edge Catalyst’. By the sounds of the game’s plot (about “a daring Runner who uncovers a hidden truth within the walls of the city of Glass”), it’s exactly the sort of thing Chvrches will have on the tourbus Xbox.

One third of the trio, Iain Cook, says: “The sound of Chvrches’ music resonates with the minimalist sci-fi dystopia of the ‘Mirror’s Edge’ world, and we feel that the song complements the drama, emotion and empowering themes of Faith’s story.”

Given this is Chvrches we’re on about, it’s obviously a very good song. Listen below.
