Circa Waves get rowdy for new ‘Fossils’ video

Liverpool charmers Circa Waves have unveiled a new video for ‘Fossils’, and at the same time, their barmy and boozy side.

Sure, these guys have toured with The Libertines in 2014, but up to now they’ve always come across as polite lads, the kind you’d invite round to dinner with the parents instead of some jaeger-fulled pub crawl that only ends in pukey tears.

The video brings together footage from their European tour, from LA-based director Adam Powell. “The boys and I bonded over a game of ping pong. The video was more of an ethos than anything particularly planned or thought out, we just wanted to get into Berlin and lose our minds. I slept in the bunk on the tour bus with the super 8mm camera, lost track of my shoes during our 48hour sleepless stay in Berlin and the whole thing was fucking amazing,” he says.

‘Fossils’ is taken from Circa Waves’ debut album, which was recorded at RAK studios with Dan Grech.

Circa Waves have also announced a huge UK tour for 2015. They play the following shows:
