Circa Waves channel cult films in ‘Movies’ video

The band’s new album ‘What’s It Like Over There?’ is out in April.

Circa Waves are releasing their new album ‘What’s It Like Over There?’ in April, and have shared a new video for its single ‘Movies’.

In the new clip, the band channel cult movies from Wayne’s World to A Clockwork Orange, Thelma and Louise and Reservoir Dogs.

“The ‘Movies’ video was about us having fun, essentially spending all our filming budget on a dressing up box,” frontman Kieran Shuddall explains.

“Whilst doubling up as a showreel for when we all individually want to break into Hollywood. It is a homage to the Movies we’ve loved growing up. I thought to dress up as Louise would be me putting myself out of my comfort zone, but I’ve never felt more at home. Its a video that celebrates Film and not taking this music biz too fucking serious.”

The band recently announced headline UK dates for April. View those and watch the ‘Movies’ video below.
