Circa Waves share ‘Me, Myself & Hollywood’ with self-directed video

The band’s new album ‘What’s It Like Over There?’ is out next month.

Circa Waves are releasing new album ‘What’s It Like Over There?’ next month, and have shared another new song from it.

‘Me, Myself & Hollywood’ follows a pair of previous singles - ‘Movies’ and ‘Be Somebody Good’ - in previewing the follow-up to 2016’s ‘Different Creatures’.

The track comes complete with its own self-directed video, based on characters vocalist Kieran Shudall was seeing around the US, and directed by bandmate Joe in Hollywood.

We recently spoke to Kieran about what to expect from the band’s upcoming third LP.

“It’s a very ambitious record I think in that we’ve not shied away from the pop element of it,” he told us. “It really gave us the freedom to make this album whatever we wanted, which is strange that by going onto an independent label it’s probably our most poppy sounding record yet.”
