All aboard!
Coach Party release latest single ‘What’s The Point In Life’
They’ll also be hitting the road later this year to tour their upcoming new album.
‘What’s The Point In Life’ is the latest in a string of singles taken from Coach Party’s forthcoming debut album, ‘KILLJOY’, which drops on 8th September via Chess Club Records. Hailing from the Isle of Wight, the quartet have released three EPs in as many years, and 2023 sees them primed to release a highly anticipated longer project.
Of ‘What’s The Point in Life’, the band’s Guy Page says: “We set out to write an opening track for ‘KILLJOY’, and ‘We’re All Gonna Die’ - as it was initially named - was almost fully formed that afternoon. It’s not really a negative sentiment, but is more our way of saying that life is for living. So, do what you wanna do, we’ll do what we wanna do, and then everyone’s happy. We ultimately share the same fate, so make your life your own”.
Having recently made their first appearance at Glastonbury and supported Queens of The Stone Age on tour, Coach Party are also due to head out on a headline tour of their own this autumn (tickets here) which will include stops around the UK and Europe:
