Coach Party hit the dancefloor with Black Honey for ‘Disco Dream’
The new track sees two indie-rock mainstays join forces for a powerful bout of energy.

Ahead of the arrival of their sophomore album ‘Caramel’ (due on 26th September via Chess Club Records), Isle of Wight outfit Coach Party have teamed up with Black Honey’s Izzy B Phillips for new single ‘Disco Dream’.
Hitting the listener with both barrels from the off, it follows the similarly maximalist ‘Do It For Love’, ‘Girls!’, and ‘Do Yourself A Favour’ to be the fourth track lifted from ‘Caramel’, and is all about channelling rage into a cathartic physical release.
“‘Disco Dream’ is a solo riot, and all it wants is to get to the dance floor,” Coach Party frontwoman Jess Eastwood has explained. “It’s rage you can dance to - about embracing loneliness and making it yours. A self-love anthem, but also self-sabotage at its finest, being so stubborn about standing alone that you end up pushing everyone away. We wanted it to feel fierce, a little broken, and completely unapologetic.”
Speaking about her involvement, Izzy - who’s also just released Black Honey’s fourth record, ‘Soak’ - has said: “I love writing with a same ‘but different’ vibe ‘cause it made me look at myself with a different lens. The solo party narrative of the song also really speaks to me.”
