Cocktails are a quartet from San Francisco who are the latest signings to Father/Daughter Records (home to Levek and Leapling, amongst others). Ahead of the release of their self-titled EP on February 12 comes the glorious pop burst of ‘Hey Winnie’
Cocktails label their music ‘Slop Pop’ which is an apt description for lo-fi take on the same kind of guitar pop which made Kurt Cobain fall in love with Teenage Fanclub back in the early nineties. They make a wonderful melodic thrash full of harmonies that will make you punch the air with joy.
