End of year release accompanies their latest album. Watch a trailer.
Coldplay have confirmed plans to release a new concert film and live album, ‘Ghost Stories Live 2014’.
Out 24th November, the DVD/Blu-ray and audio release brings together an intimate performance at a Los Angeles amphitheatre, recorded back in March of this year. The performance initially gained an airing on Sky Arts (UK) and NBC (US) but this is its first physical release - Paul Dugdale directs the film.
“The magic theatre built by our incredible crew with the 360 screens was literally a dream come true. And it was the first time anyone outside of our studio had heard the new songs,” says Chris Martin in a statement.
‘Ghost Stories Live 2014’ also features edits and videos for tracks on the album itself, as well as alternate takes for ‘Always In My Head’ and ‘Oceans’. A CD version includes recordings of the band’s gig in Royal Albert Hall earlier this year.
