Copenhagen’s Boundaries share mesmerising new video for ‘Push’
The quintet released their darkly atmospheric debut EP last week.
Every weekday, DIY’s new music know-it-all Neu brings you one essential new release to get obsessed with. Today’s Neu Pick comes from Boundaries.
It’s no secret that Denmark has become a bit of a breeding ground for incredible post punk, and the band behind today’s Neu Pick are proving just that. Copenhagen’s Boundaries may have only been active since the start of 2017, but they’re already offering up thrilling slabs of darkly melodic punk.
Fresh from releasing their debut self-titled EP last week, the band have now shared their mesmerising new video for ‘Push’, a surging yet atmospheric track packed with urgency, and flecked with intricate guitar lines.
The clip itself - as directed by Kristoffer Moth - matches up to the song’s urgent pulse. As a continuous feed of buildings and landscapes glide ever closer to the viewer’s screen, the whole thing bears a brilliant sense of uneasiness.
Boundaries are set to play two shows in Denmark next month - check their dates out below.
