The band have also hinted that a deluxe version of their third album will arrive in due course.

Courting follow up 'Lust For Life' with deluxe version single 'the twins (1969)'

Having shared their latest full-length back in March (the snappily-titled ‘Lust For Life Or: How To Thread The Needle And Come Out The Other Side To Tell The Story’), Liverpool quartet Courting are back with a brand new track, ‘the twins (1969)’ - the first to be lifted from the album’s formally TBA deluxe edition.

Continuing to expand ‘Lust For Life”s dichotomic themes and sharp sonic palette, the single explores the acute presence of absence, looking at, in vocalist Sean Murphy-O’Neill’s words, “only missing something once you’ve lost it.”

After recently wrapping on a US tour, Courting are set to return to UK stages this Autumn, when they headline London’s Paper Dress Vintage on 27th September as part of SON Estrella Galicia’s Soundhood Hackney event.

More details on the deluxe edition of ‘Lust For Life’ will be revealed soon; in the meantime, you can listen to ‘the twins (1969)’ below.
