Cults share new track ‘Right Words’

With their new album ‘Offering’ coming out on October 6th via Sinderlyn (that’s next Friday!) Cults have already shared ‘I Took Your Picture’ and, with the single’s sprawling video, ‘With My Eyes Closed’.

Now they’ve shred yet another new track, ‘Right Words’. It’s a glistening pop gem filled with vintage synths, dreamy vocals, and just a couple of little key changes here and there to keep you on your toes. Right words? More like right notes.

Speaking of the track, the band said: “We are excited to share ‘Right Words,’ the third single off of Offering. This song was like the nebula of the album. We worked on it forever because it kept breeding new parts that would go on to be their own tracks. Musically it’s inspired by 80’s power pop bands like Cleaners From Venus and R Stevie Moore, and lyrically it’s a conversation about not letting abstract ideas of success pollute your brain. Play it loud!”
