Dave Grohl’s birthday concert turns into a Hall of Fame bash

Dave Grohl’s 46th birthday bash happened over the weekend and during the benefit concert, the frontman’s other Foo Fighters members surprised the crowd and Grohl with a huge list of rock royalty taking to the stage to perform. KISS’s Paul Stanley, Slash, Tenacious D and Perry Farrell were amongst many rock friends to chip in for the charity concert’s 31 song setlist.

Fan footage from the concert - which will donate proceeds to Rock School Scholarship, MusiCares and Sweet Relief - has emerged of David Lee Roth, Alice Cooper and Zakk Wylde performing tracks alongside the Foos.

Watch footage of the performance of Van Halen’s ‘Panama’ with David Lee Roth below as well as Foo Fighters, Tenacious D and Slash performing Led Zeppelin’s ‘Immigrant Song’.
