David Bowie, Royal Blood, Lorde up for 2014 BBC Music Awards
Winners are announced in a London Earls Court ceremony, 11th December.
The first ever BBC Music Awards takes place on Thursday 11th December, with nominees announced for the British Artist of the Year and International Artist of the Year.
With more categories to be announced, the British Artist of the Year sees David Bowie up against Royal Blood. Ed Sheeran, Elbow, Jungle and Sam Smith are also up for the prize.
For International Artist of the Year, Taylor Swift and Lorde are in contention. Prince, Gregory Porter, Pharrell and Dolly Parton complete the shortlist.
The 11th December ceremony will take place in London Earls Court, with Chris Evans and Fearne Cotton set to host. Performances will arrive from One Direction, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Clean Bandit, Palmona Faith, Calvin Harris, Ella Henderson with Labrinth, Take That, George Ezra, plus Catfish and the Bottlemen.
