Day Wave has shared new track ‘Untitled’
It’s the latest haze-drenched cut from Jackson Phillips’ upcoming debut album.
California’s Jackson Phillips – better known as Day Wave –
confirmed plans to release his debut LP ‘The Days We Had’ in May.
After already airing album opener ‘Something Here’ on Zane
Lowe’s Beats 1 show, he’s now unveiled ‘Untitled’, another typically jangly and
fuzzed-out slice of sunny yet slightly melancholic indie pop. This one’s also
peppered with a few bursts of vintage synths for good measure too. It might be
called ‘Untitled’ but it’s hardly anonymous, instead showing off what Jackson
does best in fine fashion.
If you want to take in the hazy ,summery vibes in person, then
Jackson is also playing a headline show in London on 23rd May, where he heads
to The Garage.
Listen to ‘Untitled’ below.
