Deap Vally Confirm London Headline Date
The duo will play London’s Scala, with support from The Family Rain.

Deap Vally have confirmed a London headline date set for this May, with support from The Family Rain. The gig will take place at the Scala on 22nd May, and tickets go on sale on Friday 15th March.
The news follows yesterday’s announcement that the duo will play Reading & Leeds Festival, along with other new additions Bastille, Peace, Brand New, Green Day, Editors, Phoenix, Nine Inch Nails, Tame Impala and Haim, amongst others.
The band are currently finishing off their debut album, ‘Sistrionix’, with Lars Stalfors (The Mars Volta). The record will be released this summer via Communion / Island Records.
“We’ve been recording in Los Angeles, we did some of it at the studio owned by the Cold War Kids,” guitarist Lindsey Troy told DIY late last year. “It’s a really beautiful studio with a lot of atmosphere, a really good vibe.
“We’ve been over here [London] for about a month now, before that we were in the studio for a month. We did about ten songs or so, and when we go back in January, we’ll do four more songs and just pick the best ones for the album.”
Their new single ‘Lies’ is out now; watch the video above.
