Deap Vally have shared the first preview of their upcoming second album, produced by Yeah Yeah Yeah’s Nick Zinner. Though there’s no exact release date for the new record as of yet, it’s expected in 2016, and the wheels are clearly firmly in motion. Bearing the hallmark crunch of Zinner’s production work, ‘Royal Jelly’ marks a rabble-rousing return from the L.A. band, who released their debut album ‘Sistrionix’ two years ago.

‘Royal Jelly’ also has a video to match; the duo perform the song in a divey basement bar watched by various top-hatted and tassel-adorned characters. Nick Zinner makes a cheeky cameo along the way, and the video also stars Georgia Jagger. It’s directed by Jess Holzworth.

Watch the new video for ‘Royal Jelly’ below, and keep your ears open for further album updates.
