Death Cab For Cutie say their shows will always be a “safe place”

In the wake of Trump’s victory and a surge in the number of hate crimes across the States, Death Cab For Cutie have released a statement on Twitter promising that their shows “will always be a safe place.”

“Death Cab For Cutie shows will always be a safe place,” say the band. “for people of all colors, all genders, all sexual orientations and all beliefs to come together to celebrate music, love and mutual respect.” At a time when America is trying to heal, it sounds like a Death Cab gig might be a good place to start.
