Defeater release new video for ‘Divination’

Fresh from the release of their latest album ‘Abandoned’ last month, Defeater have unveiled a brand new video.

Following on from the story’s theme which was first presented in the band’s clip for ‘Spared In Hell’, ‘Divination’ showcases our protagonist as he moves away from his faith and finds himself seeing solace in the wider world.

Speaking of the video, the band’s frontman Derek Archambault has said: “‘Divination’ picks up where we last left our protagonist in ‘Spared In Hell’; struggling with his vices behind the pulpit but now finding salvation in love and a life outside his seminary. Memories of war and fallen friends haunted his days to lead him further into the depths of addiction, but the love that has found him shines a dim light of hope in his darkest nights.”

The clip lands ahead of their return to our side of the world this November. Their plans are as follows.
