Demob Happy confirm details of new album ‘The Grown Ups Are Talking’
The trio have also shared the record’s second single, ‘No Man Left Behind’.

Six weeks on from the release of their swaggering track ‘Who Should I Say Is Calling?’, Demob Happy have returned with news of their brand new album! The trio wll released their fourth full-length, ‘The Grown Ups Are Talking’, on 30th January via their own label, Milk Parlour Records.
Recorded at Joshua Tree’s iconic Rancho De La Luna studio with Dave Catching (Queens Of The Stone Age, Eagles Of Death Metal), the ten-track album sees the band at “a moment of reckoning, balanced between death and rebirth, with personal loss and the strange and unfamiliar growth that follows running like a vein through the process”, and includes their previously-released single.
Alongside this latest news, they’ve also shared another cut from the record in the form of ‘No Man Left Behind’, a darkly funky offering that deals with the disillusionment of young men right now. “Nothing kills more young men than themselves,” the band’s Matthew Marcantonio has said, of the track. “I see a lack of purpose, community, meaning, and self worth as the cause - deep rooted problems that this song isn’t going to fix - but maybe airing my dirty laundry might help.”
