Demob Happy stream monstrous new single, ‘Succubus’
Brighton force are fully-charged ahead of their first UK tour.
Trashy, hairy, downright disgusting Brighton via Newcastle force Demob Happy are streaming their new single, ‘Succubus’.
Packing the grubbiest guitar lines this side of Josh Homme’s disused basement, ‘Succubus’ follows on from the four-piece’s ‘Suffer You’ debut. With that track, they broke down the door, forced themselves into the spotlight practically uninvited. ‘Succubus’ is very much in line with Royal Blood’s blues-tinged ascent, but there’s a grittier, more off-kilter undertone to this single. It’s premiering on DIY below.
This October, Demob Happy take to their debut UK headline tour:
01 Bristol, Stag and Hounds
02 Birmingham, Sunflower Lounge
03 Chester, The Compass
04 Preston, The Ferret
05 Manchester, Eagle Inn
06 York, The Duchess
07 Hull, The Adelphi
08 Sheffield, Southsea Live
09 Guildford, The Boileroom
10 Maidstone, The Rafters
11 Sunderland, Independent
13 Newcastle, Think Tank
15 London, Birthdays
17 Brighton, Bleach
