Destiny’s Child Set To Release First New Material In Eight Years

The trio will release a compilation entitled ‘Love Songs’ with brand new track.

In what has to be the craziest day of music in for a long, long time, Destiny’s Child will be releasing some brand new material later this month.

It seems as though the legendary trio will release an album entitled ‘Love Songs’ later this month, featuring a brand new track called ‘Nuclear’ produced and co-written by Pharrell Williams, according to a Columbia press release. Beyonce wrote on her official Facebook page earlier to break the news, saying: “I am so proud to announce the first original Destiny’s Child music in eight years!”

However, don’t go getting too excited just yet; the album itself is a compilation of the trio’s greatest love songs, spanning from 1998 to 2004 , with the new material being covered by the track ‘Nuclear’. The first song to be recorded by the band since 2004, Pharrell Williams takes on production duties.
