Disclosure and Lorde air collaboration ‘Magnets’

Disclosure and Lorde have aired their new collaboration, ‘Magnets’ for the first time in full on Zane Lowe’s Beats1 radio show.

The track appears on Disclosure’s upcoming second album ‘Caracal,’ which is out this Friday (25th September). The album also features the likes of Lion Babe, Nao, Sam Smith, and The Weeknd as guests.

Lorde also spoke to Zane after ‘Magnets’ got its first spin, updating him on progress towards her own second record. “I think I just hit on the sonic blueprint,” she said. Looking back on her rapid rise to global fame after releasing ‘Royals,’ she said it’s added inspiration for her music, but nothing has fundamentally changed about how she works. “It’s cool going through something as weird as this, it’s a challenge for me to song-write from. I feel pretty adjusted, and I’m at ease with my life now. The hardest thing is figuring out how to make this work, because my goal in life was not to be famous. But the side effect of that is getting to work with some crazy people.”
