Disclosure have said that their new album, the follow-up to 2013 debut ‘Settle’, is “nearly done”.

After premiering new single ‘Bang That’ on Friday 1st May, the Lawrence brothers told Annie Mac that the new release will “definitely” be out in 2015, describing it as more “song-based” that ‘Settle’.

‘Bang That’ is the first new material since 2013, with Disclosure stating they originally made the track “for fun”, describing it as a “big club track for the summer”. Guy and Howard Lawrence also stated that they don’t want to be seen as a “house music act” exclusively, saying, “A good song is a good song, you an play it in any genre or with whichever instrument and if it sounds good then it’s a good tune.”

The duo also stated that there will be some collaborations on the album, as well as confirming that they will provide more of their own vocals on the release. “There’s some amazing singers on there, from all over the place,” they said.
