DITZ unveil details of new album ‘Never Exhale’ 

Brighton’s DITZ have announced that their second album ‘Never Exhale’ will be released on 24th January 2025 via Republic of Music/Domino Publishing, the follow up to their 2022 debut ‘The Great Regression’. 

Described by vocalist C.A. Francis as “a logical step from ‘The Great Regression’”, the new LP will act as a document of their life on the road, the majority of its tracks having been written and rehearsed on their days off between shows. As Francis states, the band were “making use of borrowed rehearsal spaces, sometimes donated by the bands we played with the night before. After that we’d probably debut the newly written song the next night.”

The band have also shared an introduction to ‘Never Exhale’ in the form of new single ‘Space/Smile’ - clocking in at under two minutes, it’s a number which Francis has said “is pretty unique within the album”. Continuing, they explain: “It’s the shortest track by a fair margin. We’ve kind of become known for using dynamic shifts to create drama in our music and with this track we tried to avoid it. It’s all about the escalation.”
