DIY Presents: Why? May UK Tour

Why? will play three dates next month, in Liverpool, Leeds and London.

WHY? are heading out on a short UK tour this May, and we’re very pleased to announce that the entire run will be in association with DIY. The three-date jaunt will kick off in Liverpool on 7th May, going on to visit Leeds and London too.

Here are the details:

MAY
07 Kazimier, Liverpool
08 Brudenell Social Club, Leeds
09 Islington Assembly Hall, London

Tickets are on sale now.

They’re touring in support of their fifth album ‘Mumps’, released in autumn. ‘On the album it’s all organs,’ main main Yoni Wolf told DIY last year, when we asked about the creation of their new release, ‘like old and warm sounds, we like that and then live we’ll have like Korg or something. We don’t use any samples or anything or drum machines everything’s played out there. I mean, we’re a band!’

Back in late July, Wolf took to the stage in the small, sweaty basement of Power Lunches in east London to play a three-song, solo, a cappella set - including EP title track ‘Sod In The Seed’. We were there; watch the footage above.
