DIY Weekly Comes To iPhone
Our weekly digital magazine adds Apple iPhone support to the existing iPad version. Grab it now!
Last month we launched our new digital magazine DIY Weekly. Back then it was available via iPad only, but we promised you we’d be bringing it to other devices too. Today we’re starting the weekend by unleashing the first of them.
From today you can access DIY Weekly via your iPhone. This isn’t simply the iPad magazine resized. Instead of pinching to zoom and desperately trying to scroll around pages far too big for a mobile phone, we’ve remained every page for a smaller screen. Functionality and ease of reading are the priority, meaning you should be able to swipe around on a packed train without stumbling into the poor sap stood next to you. The new iPhone version is available from this week’s edition (8th April 2013) onwards.
There’s a new issue of DIY Weekly every Monday (though if you’re following us on Twitter, you may get a tip off on Sunday for extra early access - Ed). It features everything you’d expect to find in our monthly print magazine, plus extra interactive stuff including videos and streaming audio.
If you’re interested in giving it a go, head to iTunes now and grab the app - you’ll find editions you’ve bought in the Library sections, with those you haven’t and subscription options in the Store. If you’re a subscriber, a new edition will appear ready to download in your Library as soon as it’s live each week.
This week’s edition features Noah And The Whale, Kurt Vile, King Krule, !!!, Charli XCX and loads more. Those of you with Android devices, keep ‘em peeled; you’re next.
