Dream Wife cover Dua Lipa’s ‘New Rules’ at Maida Vale
The band swung by Annie Mac’s show on BBC Radio 1 last night.

DIY faves Dream Wife swung by BBC Radio 1’s Maida Vale last night for a live session, as well as having a chat with presenter Annie Mac.
The band played ‘Hey Heartbreaker’, along with designated “stage invasion” track ‘Let’s Make Out’. Both tracks appear on their forthcoming debut album, out on 26th January.
They also threw a traditional live session cover into the mix, putting their own unique spin on a scrappier, more raucous version of Dua Lipa’s certified piping hot pop banger ‘New Rules’.
Listen to the whole session below. Dua Lipa’s ‘New Rules’ is covered at 22:39, with ‘Hey Heartbreaker’ (05:52) and ‘Let’s Make Out’ (15:15) also appearing.
