Dua Lipa, Rag’n’Bone Man & Anne-Marie shortlisted for BRITs Critics’ Choice
The winner of the prestigious 2017 prize will be revealed on Thursday 8th December.
It’s official: the shortlisted artists set to be in with a chance of bagging the BRITs Critics’ Choice Award have been revealed.
The three artists competing for the 2017 title are Dua Lipa - who just yesterday was announced as the winner of the 2017 European Border Breakers prize - Rag’n’Bone Man and Anne-Marie.
Speaking of her nomination, Dua Lipa said: “I couldn’t believe it when I got the news. So honoured and grateful to be nominated for the Critics’ Choice Award.”
Next year’s prize will be the tenth in its lifetime, and previous winners include the likes of Adele, Florence & The Machine, Sam Smith and last year’s Jack Garratt.
The winner of the 2017 Critics’ Choice Award gets announced a little earlier than the rest of the BRIT Awards winners - it’ll be revealed on Thursday 8th December, so keep your eyes peeled next week.
The BRIT Awards themselves are set to take place on Wednesday 22nd February at London’s O2 Arena, and this year’s statues were designed by the late, great Zaha Hadid.
