Dua Lipa teams up with BLACKPINK’s JENNIE for trippy ‘Handlebars’ video

Dua Lipa has joined forces with BLACKPINK member turned solo phenomenon JENNIE for new single ‘Handlebars’, which arrived accompanied by a spangly, dream sequence-like video starring both artists. 

The track is lifted from JENNIE’s debut solo album ‘Ruby’ - which dropped on Friday - and is one of a number of collabs to feature on the record; elsewhere, the K-pop star enlisted the help of rapper of the moment Doechii (‘ExtraL’), Dominic Fike (‘Love Hangover’), and Childish Gambino & Kali Uchis (‘Damn Right’). 

For Dua, meanwhile, this is her first new music since the release of third album ‘Radical Optimism’ last Summer, off the back of which she played festivals the world over - not least a triumphant headline set at Glastonbury 2024. 

Taking to Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes shots of working with Dua on ‘Handlebar”s music video, JENNIE has simply commented: “it was about time”. We couldn’t have put it better ourselves - check it out for yourself below.
