Dum Dum Girls’ ‘Coming Down’ was released back in 2011 within the Brooklyn group’s ‘Only in Dreams’ LP, but it’s just been unveiled alongside a Sam Macon-directed video.
The newly-shared video was directed back in the day, but the song’s getting a new lease of life after being aired on Netflix’s ‘Orange Is The New Black’ show. Speaking about the video, Dee Dee says: “I couldn’t handle starring in such a straight forward, HD role — it was just too much me. I felt exposed and that made me uncomfortable.”
‘Coming Down’ is being released as a limited 7” via Sub Pop, with latest album ‘Too True’ out now.
