DZ Deathrays unveil riotous new track ‘Pollyanna’

Wasn’t 2016 supposed to be a “year off” for DZ Deathrays? The Aussie duo shared the snarling ‘Blood On My Leather’ back in February and now Shane Parsons and Simon Ridley are back with ‘Pollyanna.’ Not that we’re complaining…

The single is a punk whirlwind of loud riffs and mind-infiltrating hooks that pretty much sums up everything there is to love about DZ Deathrays. The band are still continuing to perfect their third album with Gerling’s Burke Reid, but if ‘Pollyanna’ is any indication of what to expect, it’s gonna be a riot.

Next month the pair are teaming up with fellow Aussie noiseniks Dune Rats on a big tour of Europe and the UK, alternating who’s headlining each night. That’s diplomacy in action, right there.
