Re-upholstered
Early Jack White single found inside furniture
2/100 singles of White’s days in the Upholsterers discovered.

Jack White’s record label Third Man Records have today announced that two singles by the Upholsterers (Jack White’s pre-Stripes band) have been discovered hiding in upholstered furniture. Prior to his career in music, Jack White was a member of the group with Brian Muldoon.
The record label have been made aware of two copies found after Muldoon began hiding the vinyl in 2004. The group’s second single ‘Your Furniture Was Always Dead…I Was Just Afraid To Tell You’ was sewn into furniture and there are potentially 98 singles still available.
