Flawless victory EAT FAST get hypnotic in the video for ‘Immortal Kombat’
Their EP of the same name came out in May.
A little while back, Newcastle Class of 2017-ers EAT FAST released their new EP ‘Immortal Kombat’ on Cannibal Hymns and it was chock full of dirty and distorted riffs and a good chunk of fuzz and reverb.
So, how to represent that in a visual format then? Art Mouse Films found a way with their video for the title track. If you like psychedelic imagery, then this is just about as colourfully psychedelic as they get. Paired with swirling filters and rapid-fire editing, the combination of vivid colours creates a hypnotic yet surprisingly sludgy video that accompanies the band’s sound pretty much perfectly. Just don’t sit too closely to the screen, or you might give your eyes a fatality.
In addition, the band have also announced their first headline show in London! They’ll be playing at the Sebright Arms on 2nd October and tickets are on sale now.
