Eels to release Royal Albert Hall concert film

There’ll also be a live audio recording of the London gig.

After their massive show at the legendary London venue in June last year, Eels are to release a live film and album titled ‘Royal Albert Hall’.

The 2 CD + DVD and triple vinyl release will be out on 13th April, having been recorded back on 30th June 2014.

Filmed at the gig, which took place on 30th June 2014, the performance includes favourites like ‘Last Stop: This Town’, ‘Flyswatter’ and ‘It’s A Motherfucker’ alongside songs from latest album, ‘The Cautionary Tale of Mark Oliver Everett’.

The film was directed by Charlie Lightening, and features pre-gig backstage footage as well as the performance itself.
