Ellis shares gorgeous ‘Something Blue’ video

The Ontario songwriter is making her UK debut next month.

Ontario songwriter Linnea Siggelkow, who goes by the name Ellis, re-released her gorgeous debut EP ‘The Fuzz’ via new label home Fat Possum earlier this year.

In advance of her UK debut, which begins in Glasgow next week, the singer has shared a new video for ‘Something Blue’.

“I think everyone has a moment that they wish they could time-travel back to and have a do-over,” she says of the track. “This song is about mine, hindsight can be a real bitch.”

We caught Ellis at last month’s New Colossus festival in New York, saying: “Dishing up a woozy, reasonably true-to-the-original cover of The Cranberries’ doe-eyed classic ‘Linger’, the singer and her band are like a chilled out, dialled down take on Canadian peers Alvvays – all wistful melodies and sugared vocals.”
