Estrons share new track ‘Cold Wash’
It’s the flipside to their recently-released track ‘Glasgow Kisses’.
A few weeks back, alt-rockers Estrons revealed ‘Glasgow Kisses’, the first part of a AA-side single.
So, what’s on the flipside? Only this ripper of a track! ‘Cold Wash’ completes the duo of tunes from the group, a sub-three minute burst of crunching riffs and a powerhouse vocal performance from Taliesyn Kallstrom.
Taliesyn said of the track: “‘Cold Wash’ is about trying to clean someone out of your life that just doesn’t want to go. They want destruction, they want conflict and they won’t go without a fight. The lyrics are written from two perspectives, the one pushing and the one holding on, which is why it comes across as capricious. I think sometimes people can have too much empathy so we allow too much bad behaviour to happen in our lives. It’s is about the struggle to break free from other people’s bad habits but most importantly our own and making it so it sticks”.
Estrons are currently on a UK tour, heading to Liverpool tonight (29th September). In the coming week they’re also set to head to Leicester, London and Birmingham, as well as Cardiff and Manchester for a couple of festival dates. Tickets are on sale now.
