Exclusive: Listen: Various Cruelties Stream Full Album
You can listen to Various Cruelties’ brand new self titled debut in full, exclusively at DIY.
Various Cruelties are set to release their self-titled debut album on the 30th April, however, you can now hear it in its entirety exclusively at DIY.
DIY recently spoke to the band about their album, and they had this to say: ”I think people will be a bit surprised by the album to be honest! The singles to date have been… singles. They’re designed to be poppy to attract people’s attention and prick people’s ears but theres another side to the record that is quite dark. All the tracks have been written from experience and the style has come from a whole load of influences. There’s a lot of hip-hop like The Neptunes and the more obvious stuff like My Bloody Valentine and The Stone Roses. I think people will be surprised by what they hear on the album.’
You’ll be able to read the full interview tomorrow at diymag.com.
The tracklisting of their debut - if you’d like to be reminded - is as follows.
1. Chemicals
2. Great Unknown
3. If It Wasn’t For You
4. Magnetic Field
5. Cold As You
6. Dry Your Tears
7. Beautiful Delirium
