Exit Kid up the gore factor in Hansel and Gretel-inspired ‘Remember Remember’ video
The Years & Years man will also be taking his project on tour later this month

Exit Kid - aka Years & Years’ Emre Turkman - has revealed the surreal, Hansel & Gretel-inspired video for ‘Remember Remember’, featuring claymation houses, blood-soaked candy canes and Emre’s sawn-off hand. Poor lad.
Directed by Joe Baughman, it’s the third time the pair have teamed up to create Exit Kid’s warped visuals following videos for ‘It’s Cool’ and ‘Caesar’.
Speaking of the process, Baughman said, “After talking with Emre about his idea to make a music video with some gore, I (for some reason) thought it could be cool to do something based on Hansel and Gretel. This turned out to be appropriate since Emre could at last fulfill the lead role that he was once denied as a child (poor little Emre).” Cute.
Exit Kid will also be taking to the stage later this month on a short UK tour (presumably with both hands intact). Check out the most excellent ‘Remember Remember’ video below and peruse their live dates at your leisure.
